Loan Terms
All pawned items are held in proper storage for the life of the loan. You must be at minimum 21 years of age with a valid State I.D. We are required by law to report all items to the Suffolk County Police Department. It is policy to notify us immediately if your pawn ticket is stolen or lost. Collateral loans can start as low as 3%. All of our loans also include NY State regulated storage fees and are confidential.
Minimum and maximum period for repayment:
All Pawn Express loans are for a period of 4 months unless the customer picks up their loan sooner, and is renewable for an additional 4 months if the customer pays the interest due for the first 4 months. Here is 1 example of loan, terms (period of loan in months), and the corresponding interest rate:
- $500 borrowed for 4 months: Payback in 4 months is $560 including interest and fees. The annual interest rate including interest and fees is as low as 36%
